Our trip was fantastic and a lot of that credit goes to Rosie! Super comfortable and you really have everything you can need. Some of the best nights sleep we have had! She was a delight to drive throughout the island and a pleasure to call home for the week. The team at North Shore Vans were incredibly helpful, responsive and kind. Thank you so much for all of your help and tips! We are so happy that our originally reservation elsewhere ended up being cancelled so that we found Rosie - 100% recommend.

Jason and Emily were the most delightful hosts imaginable. I can't overstate how helpful, uplifting, and supportive they were. We want to recommend this company to anyone going to Maui and definitely want to rent Coral again if we do anymore island hopping camping weekends. Coral was extremely clean, well-maintained, and obviously taken care of. She was perfect for everything we did from the treacherous Road to Hana to the gorgeous Haleakala Summit to shopping in Kihei. The bed was comfy, the supplies were well stocked for a short weekend trip, and having a cooler in the front was so perfect for us. We even got stuck in the mud at one point and Jason was in contact with us constantly to make sure we were safe and offered multiple options to help get us out. He even offered to make all the phone calls for us since our reception was spotty and we were having difficulty. There are so many ways these two went above and beyond from recommendations to a short orientation video and much more. Best business owners I've come into contact with in a long time!

Would recommend North Shore Vans to anyone looking to camp around Maui. Jason and Emily are super nice and the van was great - clean and well taken care of. Got to chat with them when picking up the van and they had great recommendations of places to go and things to do around the island.

Coral was an amazing adventure mobile for our stay on Maui. Simple but comfortable, convenient and roomy. Communication was prompt and thorough, and picking up and dropping her off outside of office hours was super easy. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved living in Coral for the week. Comfy bed, lots of space, fun driving, and easy to find spots to sleep. The owners were super helpful and easy to get in contact with for any van help or travel tips.

We had an epic camping adventure! The van had everything we needed, and so many nice amenities that made our stay so enjoyable! The bed was so very comfortable, and there was ample space for storage. The van was so well designed we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

North Shore Vans provided such a unique experience in Maui! Both my husband and I have been previously, but we were able to explore in an entirely new way. I feel like we were able to get out and do more in a van, than if we had stayed at a resort. NSV was responsive when we had questions about our van and we’re helpful to us as first time van users 🙂 We were lucky to use two vans and loved them both!!! They each had unique character and features and both made our trip a success! Thank you North Shore Vans!

Emily & her husband were so warm and helpful throughout our trip! The camper van was super comfortable - we slept well every night. Goldie was a reliable vehicle, and we had a great time exploring the island.
They provided us with towels and a guide/map for the best spots on the island.
The cooking items and cooler were pretty basic but did the job!

We had a great couple days in Maui with Goldie. We stayed at a couple campgrounds in Maui and also drove it on the road to Hana. Happy to say that it handled very well on the road. Van also had everything that was listed and had a lot of space for luggage. Jason gave a good breakdown of things to know before we hit the road, and gave us some local recommendations for good eats as well. From beaches to campgrounds, this worked out perfectly for exploring the island.

Cherry was exactly as expected. Aka, van was rad. Naro, our spiritual guide and guardian angel, was super responsive and helpful. No worries did we have. 🤙 mahalo!!!

Traveling with Betty was amazing! Everything in the van was extremely well thought out; from the dimmable solar lights, blackout window coverings, a large amount of storage, sink to use for basic hygiene, charging station, fan above the bed, lockbox storage for keys, bluetooth device to connect phones for music/maps while driving, and sufficient camping gear. We found the bed to be very comfortable.
As it is an older vehicle; the brakes take longer to stop, and the steering wheel is a little shaky. Just something to note if you are not a comfortable driver.
Communication with NSV before and during our stay was A+! Prompt responses & very helpful. Thank you Emily for helping us prepare for our stay. Naro (operations manager) thank you for meeting us, walking us through step by step how to make the most out of the van, and our stay in Maui. We were also given an extra blanket to use while camping on the mountain of Haleakala.
We fell in love with the island (and betty). Van life is easy when you are in paradise. The best part is that you have everything you need with you at all times! No need to waste time thoroughly packing a day bag. Weather can change quickly, so you can easily grab what you need accordingly.
If I could make any suggestions for the future; adding an interior handle to close the side door while in the van would be great! It was difficult to close properly without. Lastly, perhaps a couple of hooks in the van to hang wet bathing suits, towels, etc. This is not a problem if you are parked in the sunshine as you can dry things outside. We, unfortunately, had several days of rain which made this difficult. And if you are on the road often for majority of the day also poses a challenge for hanging items to dry outside. These are very minor issues, we just thought it would be worth mentioning because it was what we noticed could be helpful!
If you are planning a stay in one of the vans, we would recommend bringing with you: a headlamp or flashlight (to use for cooking, walking, etc at night), beach towels (shower towels are provided), snorkel gear, bluetooth speaker, and if you like to spend time outdoors after sunset.. ambiance lighting. We brought string lights and a lantern to play cards at night.
Truthfully, an unforgettable trip! Thank you again everyone from NSV!!!
