Winlock can be found to the west of Washington, off Interstate 5, between Seattle and Portland, just over the state border into Oregon. Should you need a quick overnight stay, consider Walmart, larger grocery stores, or truck stops. There is a Walmart located within 15 miles of town and camping may be allowed at this location. Just be sure to check with the manager to get permission before settling in for the evening. There are also truck stops that provide showers with 20 miles of Winlock.

With the countryside at your doorstep, there are plenty of places to visit near Winlock. Set out and explore the Cascade Mountains, Mayfield Lake and one of the world’s largest Douglas fir trees, located in nearby Mineral.
