Here you can rent out a spot and enjoy a beautiful stay at one of the premier nature locations in the area. From here you can easily access the major highways to get to where you need to go. You can also find some nice campgrounds outside the city for different amenities and equally gorgeous surroundings. Haas Lake Park RV Campground, about 40 minutes away in New Hudson, Michigan has beautiful beaches on the lake, along with excellent features and a great location with easy access to shopping, an amusement park, and golfing. Clearwater Campground, 20 minutes away in Ortonville, Michigan is another great choice with a family atmosphere and boat rentals on a 35-acre lake. Brendel Lake Campground is another spot outside to city to investigate if you are still looking.

Once you are done enjoying the natural sights of Waterford Township, or maybe during one of your obligatory breaks, take a tour through town. The Waterford Oaks Waterpark is a great spot to spend an adrenaline-fueled day trip. Also in the water, try the SEA LIFE Michigan aquarium to see some amazing creatures. A local family fun park is a more traditional family zone with roller skating, and a ropes course. The Great Lakes Crossing Outlets presents a nice place to shop for your souvenirs, or anything else. Head to Pine Knob Ski and Snowboard Resort to hit the slopes, or relax and watch a show at the theater in town.
