One favorite spot in Coffee County is the Old Fort State Archaeological Park. Enjoy hiking trails among waterfalls and Native American history exhibits. Meander across the old one-way metal bridge, and stop for a picture before you even get to the visitor center. There is a beautiful river and a waterfall. Nearby are the Indian Burial Mounds. This small park is a great place to hike or even camp in your Tullahoma rental motorhome.

Just five miles north of Tullahoma is the Short Springs Natural Area. This is a well-known and popular place, featuring gorgeous waterfalls, and nature trails, in tranquil surroundings. Some of the trails are quite easy, and other steep, so make sure to check your abilities before you start off. There are great waterfalls to be seen, and several trails will lead you right to them. Just be prepared to get a little wet.

Barton Springs Campground is a great place to spend the night in your Tullahoma rental RV. There are campsite grills, and you can swim in Normandy Lake. Nantahala National Forest is about 165 miles away and offers camping, whitewater rafting, hiking and biking trails, horseback riding facilities and more. Kayaks and canoes are a great way to access wonderful fishing areas here, where there is no shore access, and you will love the peace and quiet this lovely spot offers.
