The small city of Roosevelt is located in Duchesne County, Utah close to Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area and the Dinosaur National Monument.

A young town, established in 1906, it came into being when plots of land became available for homesteaders and was named after President Theodore Roosevelt. The town grew steadily serving a far-reaching local community and is located in an area of vast oil reserves that dominate the local economy. The terrain here is rugged mountains and plateaus, with Roosevelt itself being situated at a height of 5,250 feet.

When you book an RV in Duchesne County, you’re in the very heart of Utah, surrounded by forests, mountains, and lakes. It makes an excellent starting point for exploring the state. Quite a drive west is Salt Lake City, but it’s definitely worth the trip with your Roosevelt travel trailer rental.
