The picturesque city of Paris, Texas is located northeast of Dallas and Fort Worth, directly west of Texarkana. Named after Paris, France, the city was originally founded in the mid-1800s on a ridge between the two nearby rivers. Developed mainly due to the arrival of the railway in the area, Paris had a turbulent beginning, as the city burnt down in 1916 and had to be rebuilt from scratch; it was also hit by a tornado that destroyed over 1,500 homes.

An RV rental in Paris is unique as it offers some fantastic architecture, coupled with a French twist - the city is home to a replica Eiffel Tower which is well-worth visiting. It also provides easy access to nearby metropolitan areas as well as Texas' diverse and beautiful nature.
