Nestled into the north-eastern corner of Texas is the charming town of Mount Pleasant. Conveniently located along Interstate 30, the town has direct links with Dallas and Fort Worth as well as easy access into Arkansas.

The Caddo Indian Tribe were the first to settle in the area during the 1830s. They were known for building large burial mounds and often spoke of a ‘pleasant mound’ in what we now know as Titus County. Later on, in 1850, the mound officially became recognized as Mount Pleasant

Nowadays, many tourists book an RV in Titus County to uncover this fascinating history, explore the stunning Texan lakes, and maybe even visit a winery or three!
