The small city of Marceline takes its name from the wife of a former railroad director however the city’s real claim to fame is as the childhood home of the world-famous Walt Disney. Said to be the inspiration for many of Walt’s movies and cartoons, not to mention Disneyland itself, Marceline maintains a magical charm within the heart of Missouri.
