Comprising two census-designated places, Lutherville-Timonium lies just to the north of Baltimore, Maryland's city center while being surrounded by natural areas. It dates back to 1852 when the community of Lutherville was established around a Lutheran seminary while Timonium was named after a mansion owned by Mrs. Archibald Buchanan.

Today, Lutherville-Timonium centers around a lively commercial strip, with a human-made reservoir sprawling to the east. It’s home to the Maryland State Fairgrounds where Labor Day celebrations take place each year and a public golf course where you can practice your swing. It’s this combination of shopping, dining, and recreational facilities that makes it an ideal place to rent an RV while discovering the historical and natural sights of Baltimore County.
