The picturesque city of Lake Stevens is located on the northeastern side of a lake with the same name. Founded in 1886, Lake Stevens is part of the Snohomish County in northwest Washington. Originally a small settlement, Lake Stevens grew and developed along with the railway which opened in 1905 and connected the town with Hartford. In 1960 Lake Stevens was incorporated into a city. Despite its development over the 20th century the city still retains its community charm and stunning natural beauty. It’s not just the lake’s boating activities and “Worlds Larges Mill” which draw visitors to Lake Stevens either. There are also several nearby waterways to paddle on, beaches to enjoy, and state parks to hike.

When you book an RV in Snohomish County, you’ll even have front door access to Mount Pilchuck State Park and the Snohomish County Centennial Trail. Lake Stevens is located just off the WA-9, within a twenty-minute drive of both Everett, to the east, and Marysville, to the northwest. It’s also well connected to other cities in Washington via to WA-2 and the I-5.

Along the way, hikers can enjoy views of Mount Rainer, the North Cascades, and the Olympic Range as well as Puget Sound. Successful hikers can rest after the tough climb at the summit which sits at an altitude of 5,324 feet above sea level.

Cyclists might like to leave their Lake Stevens RV Rentals by owner in an RV park while they peddle the Snohomish County Centennial Trail. The 30-mile route is built upon the old Burlington-Northern railroad. It begins in Snohomish and runs until the border of Skagit County, passing through Arlington, Machias, and Lake Stevens. The Snohomish Centennial Trail is also suitable for walking and horseback riding.
