La Habra is a city in Orange County, California, in the most northwestern section of the county. The name “La Habra” means “pass through the hills” in Spanish and was given to the city as it is located between the northern Puente Hills and the southern Coyote Hills. American, English, and Swiss settlers began arriving in the area in the 1890s, but explorers had passed through the area as early as 1769. The city of La Habra was incorporated in 1925 and was named an “All-American City” in 1975 for its social programs and community improvement efforts. It should not be confused with La Habra Heights, a related city in Los Angeles County (north of La Habra).
Book an RV in Orange County and you are ready to begin experiencing the very unique culture that is Southern California. There are some other cities that might prove interesting and worth checking out, such as Pomona, which is named after the Roman goddess of fruit, a nod to its rich fertile soil. Yorba Linda was the birthplace of Richard M. Nixon andGarden Grove is where Orange County's name was first conceived. Huntington Beach's status as a surfing paradise began in 1925 and continues today, while Cerritos is an important community in the world of hip-hop music. Your La Habra travel trailer rental is the perfect way to visit these places.
The Arroyo Pescadero Trailhead and Arroyo San Miguel Trail are two urban hiking trails located in the Puente Hill Preserve. The Pescadero Trailhead loops back on itself and provides a scenic and relaxing opportunity to observe the local wildlife. Hours are limited and the trails are patrolled by park staff, who ask that you carry out of the park anything you bring with you when entering. Photography is allowed.
Peter F. Schabarum Regional Park is a nature reserve with a balance of developed and natural areas. There are tennis courts, soccer pitches, and amphitheaters and outdoor stages where concerts and theater-in-the-park plays are held. The area has picnic tables and shelters for guests to enjoy, and there are nature and plant walks (these can be guided or self-guided). The natural, under-developed areas offer camping, trails for hiking, cycling and horseback riding, and restrooms. The park is open to the public during daylight hours and pets are welcome. Parking is available and having your La Habra camper rental nearby is a good way to take a pause between activities.
Laguna Lake Park has picnic areas, equestrian riding, and trails for riding and hiking. Visitors are allowed to fish in the lake; be sure to bring your catch back to your La Habra RV rental to prepare it for dinner later in the day. Or, hike the trails that follow the lake's edge, spotting the wildlife that exists here. There are turtles in addition to fish, ducks, and swans. Restrooms can be found intermittently along the trails.

One of the Greek venues has belly dancing on occasion. There are Chinese and Japanese restaurants and the portions are huge.
