Although considered one of the fastest growing cities in Texas, Hutto is still proud to display its Swedish farming heritage and visitors can still enjoy the city’s small-town feel. Aside from 19th-century architecture and cultural attractions, Hutto is an excellent base for exploring the area with one of the RV rentals in Hutto. Hutto is just 30 miles northeast of the state capital of Austin, 15 miles south of Georgetown via the TX-130, and 10 miles east of Round Rock. Continue driving northeast from Sam Houston National Forest and you can visit the Davey Crocket National Forest, Angelina National Forest, and Sabine National Forest.
