Located in the heart of Georgia is the city of Hampton. The city was once called “Bear Creek” after a small creek that flowed through the area before eventually being renamed in the late 1800s for General Wade Hampton who served in the American Revolutionary War.

Hampton is a suburb in the Atlanta metropolitan area and is a quick drive away to this major city. It’s also close to the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The city tends to be very hot and humid throughout the year, although it does start to cool down as the year comes to an end.
