Glen Arm is an unincorporated community in Baltimore County, Maryland, and lies upon an early route from Harford County, Baltimore County, and Southern Pennsylvania to the port at Baltimore City. This route was used for the transportation of agricultural products. Glen Arm was also served by the Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad; in 1921, the railroad installed the first train-actuated railroad crossing signal developed by Charles Adler, the railroad's Superintendent of Signals. Adler is also the inventor of traffic-actuated traffic lights and the flashing warning lights employed by aircraft. The city was the home of Charles Joseph Bonaparte, a great-nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte, the French emperor. C.J. Bonaparte served as the U.S. Secretary of War and the U.S. Attorney General during the Roosevelt administration and is credited with creating the Bureau of Investigation, a precursor to today's FBI.

Search for an RV in Baltimore County and you will have your choice from a vast selection of RV types and models perfectly suited to the Maryland countryside. There are other towns that are interesting and worth exploring, even if just for a quick visit. Bel Air was originally known as Scott's Old Fields but was officially changed to Belle Aire when it was designated county seat in 1782, and finally changed to Bel Air at the turn of the 20th century. Aberdeen was named by Scottish immigrants after their hometown in Scotland. Middle River established the "Aero Acres" housing community in the 1930s and '40s for the employees of the Martin Aerospace Company, one of the city's larger employers. Towson is home to the Asian Arts & Culture Center and the Watson-King Planetarium, which can view the stars day or night in good or bad weather (both are at Towson University). Owings Mills is a suburb of Baltimore and the northern terminus of Baltimore's metro subway; it is also the headquarters of the NFL's Baltimore Ravens. Your Glen Arm travel trailer rental is your window to this fascinating and historical part of Maryland.

Liberty Reservoir is a managed resource in Baltimore County and is home to warm, cool, and cold water fish species. Walleye and striped bass have been reproducing naturally for many years, so catches can be small or quite large. Fishing is permitted from the shoreline or from boats powered by rowing or electric motors. The reservoir was constructed in 1954 by the city of Baltimore for use as a public water supply.

Gunpowder Falls State Park is one of Maryland's largest state parks. It is divided into six areas; most offer hiking and biking trails, some offer canoeing and kayaking, but only one has a rail-trail. Another area is the only one with an archery range. Swimming and fishing are allowed. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Park your Glen Arm RV trailer rental here and spend an entire day or longer engaging in various activities and enjoying your home-on-wheels.

Annie's Playground is a cultivated park created by the local community as a memorial for a young girl. It has a puppet theater, a treehouse, a memorial garden, and more. There are walking trails, a sports complex, and picnic areas. Construction of the park began and was completed in 2005 from a land grant by Harford County, fundraising, and more than a thousand volunteers, including several local artists.
