Near to the fairgrounds is the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, which is one of a handful of churches in town that are worth seeing if you appreciate mid-western architecture.

North of town, on Highway 71, is Greenbrier Country Club. This country club offers a fun golf experience and a great way to get some exercise on your outdoor trip while having a good time. The holes are backdropped by the Great Plains, and the short distance from Exira makes this an easy stop for a day outing.
