This park is just an hour drive from Cibolo on the other side of the San Antonio metropolitan area. Crescent Bend Nature Park is located in neighboring Schertz, which is just a five-minute drive from the Cibolo city center. Visitors to Crescent Bend can enjoy a short walking trail around the park or relax by scenic Cibolo Creek. Bussey’s Flea Market in nearby Schertz has plenty of eclectic goods that make great souvenirs, and downtown Cibolo often hosts delicious food trucks on the weekends.

History buffs and urban explorers, however, should take a day and venture into San Antonio. The big city is home to historical sites like the Alamo and the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, and urban adventurers can explore the famous San Antonio Riverwalk, which has over 15 miles of paths with plenty of shops and restaurants.
