Each campsite is outfitted with a concrete patio, a fire pit, and full hookups. A tot lot and camp store with fuel, gas, and other items are also located on site.

Exploring the City

The 20-acre farm raises and sells alpacas as well as products made from alpaca fleece. When you visit the farm, you can tour the facility and interact with the alpacas.

If you’re interested in learning more about the history of the area, pay a visit to Mount Harmon Plantation in Earleville. The plantation is a restored 18th-century manor house and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 200-acre estate features wide open spaces, nature trails, and waterfront views. While visiting Cecilton, take a short drive to Havre de Grace and check out Concord Point, the oldest public-accessible lighthouse in Maryland. The light tower was built in 1884 and has been fully restored to its original splendor. Besides being the second oldest lighthouse in Maryland — the oldest, Pooles Island Light on Aberdeen Proving Ground, was built two years prior and is off limits to the general public — Concord Point is also the northern-most lighthouse on the Chesapeake Bay. The lighthouse was decommissioned in 1975 but is open to the public on weekends from April through October.
