Burlington and nearby Cincinnati offer a wide variety of stunning outdoor activities just a short drive away in your Burlington RV rental. You can go rock climbing at Eden Park, go canoeing or kayaking on the Little Miami River, or even the Ohio River, and ride any of the numerous bicycling trails in and around Devou Park. This part of Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio offers a wide variety of activities and attractions, including unique museums, classic art, historic spots, and much, much more.

Bring the kids to the Duke Energy Children’s Museum, part of the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal. Consistently ranked high on the list of top children’s museums in the United States, kids are encouraged to climb, explore and learn about themselves and their world through a wide variety of exhibits. There are tons of hands-on fun for children of all ages and abilities, including several designed just for very young children. Kids love the water area, pet hospital, construction areas, and grocery store. There is plenty of parking and a picnic area outside the museum.

Don’t miss the Harriet Beecher Stowe House in downtown Cincinnati. Once the home of the influential anti-slavery author, and writer of the famous novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin, you’ll get a glimpse into the family, friends, and history of the Beecher-Stowe family. Learn about abolitionist, women's rights and Underground Railroad movements that all happened around this home and area. These active religious leaders lived in the home for almost 20 years. Tours are available, and there is parking nearby.

Civil War history buffs love the James A. Ramage Civil War Museum. Just 15 miles away near Fort Wright and Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, it is an easy drive in your Burlington RV rental. This unique museum tells the untold story of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky’s unique involvement in the American Civil War. Although no major battles took place here, the residents of the area resisted strong pushes by the Confederate Army, and the museum is set in one of the primary locations of that stronghold, the Battery Hooper. Learn also about the Black Brigade, and the history of Fort Wright.

Within a 10-15 mile radius, you’ll also find several KOA campgrounds and state and regional public campgrounds. In the nearby national forest areas of Daniel Boone National Forest, Mt. Airy National Forest, and Rapid Run Woods National Forest, there is dispersed primitive camping, perfect for smaller rigs, but also some developed campgrounds with restrooms and picnic and grilling facilities.
