This county-owned campsite offers a dump station, electric and water hook-up for your RV, restrooms with hot showers, fire rings, and picnic tables. Located on the Hiawassee River, you’ll find opportunities for swimming, fishing, and boating within the park. There is a maximum stay of fourteen days at this park.

Exploring the City

There's a multitude of attractions located near Brasstown that provide a variety of fun for people of all ages. The Cherokee County Museum, located in Murphy, is housed in the historic Carnegie Library Building. This museum is home to over 2,000 Cherokee artifacts that have been collected for over 50 years. You’ll also find over 40 panels with animations that depict what the life and history of the local Cherokee people. There are many different pieces of antique farm equipment and household items that were used by early settlers in the area.

One fun place to visit with the family is Two Crows Farm. This is an Alpaca Farm located in Murphy, and us an unusual experience that you won’t find often! Two Crows Farm is home to 43 Alpacas, one llama, and several dogs and cats. You can schedule a visit to get up close to the Alpacas and see a farm that most of us aren't used to seeing!
