Explore the City

Before your RV vacation ends, take some time to visit the center of Clear Lake and its surrounding attractions. The town has a relaxed suburban feel and offers visitors a handful of convenience stores, a post office, and gas station. You can taste some of the local dishes and beverages at a family-run tavern or coffee shop before taking a stroll around Mud Lake. This small lake sits on the western side of town, approximately 2,000 feet above sea level, and a designated footpath begins at the highway.

On the opposite side of town is Clear Lake, where you can swim from a sandy beach in the summertime, launch a motorized boat, or take part in paddle sports. Kids can burn off energy in the lakeside playground while their parents prepare a picnic in the beautiful mountain scenery.
