Most people visit Utah for its unbelievable national parks, known for being some of the most enchanting in the United States. Arches National Park and Zion National Park are two of the most commonly visited places in the state for a variety of reasons. Arches National Park is a three-hour drive away by the town of Moab and is legendary for its many rocky arches caused by millions of years of wind erosion. These natural landmarks pair well with the unparalleled views of the Milky Way in one of the world’s very best night sky-viewing areas. Zion National Park has majestic sandstone canyons and glorious red rock formations towering high above its fertile valleys. Rock climbing, canyoneering, mountain biking, and long-distance hiking are just a fraction of the ways you can make the most of your trip to Zion National Park.
