As made apparent by its name, College Station is home to not just any college, but one of the largest and most notable universities in all of Texas. This city is the location of Texas A&M University, and one of the most famous college towns in the country. Together with the neighboring city of Bryan, the combined metro area is one of the largest in Texas.

The city dates back to the 1860s when it was first settled and shortly after it was chosen as the ideal spot for an agricultural college to be established. With the arrival of the first railway in town at the turn of the century, College Station never looked back as the population would continually rise over the next century. This cultural oasis is one of the best-educated cities in the south and home to an excellent mass transit system making it easy to get around town when you rent an RV. You can book an RV in College Station and drive to nearby Houston or Austin with ease, or head out into the countryside and explore the many different faces of the great outdoors in Texas, an oft-overlooked place of great beauty.
