-No idea how to back up with a trailer and not sure you wanna find out?
-Have kids, or a dog, or kids and a dog? Don't want to spend your trip worrying about every little spill or mishap?
-Can you drive a van or an SUV?
Bond girl is for you!Not new, not fancy, but super comfortable, and super easy to drive. Look, we"re not too precious about her, and thats what's great. Did you accidentally tear the awning, or scratch the bumper? Did you lose part of the bumper making a bad turn out of a parking lot? (if yes, stop. Get out. Grab the pieces. Put throw them in the stowage compartment. We will be needing those.....)Something goes wrong, you break something, scratch something, spill something---We're not gonna freak out and charge you a bunch of money. You throw down for the bondo and the sandpaper and we'll patch her up and call it even. (Get the name now? "Bond" girl...?) ;-)It comes with everything you need to make a nice hearty meal after a long day of adventure.--Pots and pans and dishes and utensils
--Basic Spices
--Linens and towels
--A TV with a DVD player.
--A couple of outdoor chairs and an umbrella
Kitchen has 4 burner propane stove and an oven-! There's a microwave, refrigerator, freezer. Except for the microwave; you don't need to be hooked up to anything. I've made a pizza while taking a break at a view turnoutIts got a great layout with:--Lots of windows to take in the scenery--Queen bed in the master suite--Large bunk area that can sleep 2 adults (not a lot of headroom, but its nice and long-!) and you could easily stack 3 or more kidlets in there.--Dinette that makes into a bed (good for kids or shorties like me; taller folks will want to opt for the master or the bunk)Here's the current list of what doesn't work; and why that may or may not matter to you:--No fresh water tank. The original one started leaking, and I never used it anyway. The fresh water tank requires electricity to pump the water. If you"re in a place where you are hooked up to electricity--95% of the time, you've also got a water hookup too, which always has better water pressure than pumping from the fresh water tank.We just went dry camping in the desert. Even if there was a fresh water tank, there was no electricity so we wouldn't have been able to use it. Two 5 gallons jugs were more than enough for 2 adults drinking, dish washing, potty, and basic hygiene.--No house electricity unless plugged in. In those cases, Phones and computers and a small fan are powered via an inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Light is provided with an LED lantern and flashlights and candles. Its actually really nice and cozy.--Hot water heater. Its a bummer for dishes when at a campground or on hookups, but thats about it. (see above). As for showering; Even when the hot water heater did work, we always used the showers in the bathhouse. And when you're not on hookups, its not an option anyway (see above re: needing electricity to pump water from fresh water tank).--The awning. The fabric just finally had enough and ripped beyond repair. We may have a new one up very soon; but as of right now; thats the status.Edit:
I've been getting a lot of inquiries for trips involving distances between 1300-5000 miles in short periods of time.
On level ground in a good weather; this rig comfortably and safely goes between 60-65 mph. 300 miles = 5 1/2 hours of driving time. For longer trips, please build in some cushion for the unknown such as encountering high winds or other road conditions that require slower safe driving speeds.
