Sellersville is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and a suburb of Philadelphia. It began in the early 18th century as Sellers Tavern, named after the inn that was a notable feature of the new community. In the 1860s, the construction of a railroad prompted an increase in business and the population; textile industries fueled the town's continued growth. Early in the 20th century, the Perkiomen Creek which runs between Sellersville and Perkasie was dammed, creating Lake Lenape. A park was built on the shores of this lake with a carousel, roller coaster, and other rides in the 1920s and 1930s, and the park became a popular summertime retreat for citizens of other nearby cities. Today the textile industry has moved away, and the park has all but gone, leaving only the carousel behind. The town has become a residential community for people working in nearby areas. One of Sellersville's historic buildings, the Teller Cigar Factory, has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Book an RV in Bucks County and you are guaranteed a vehicle that will be comfortable and up to the challenges of commuting around this county. There are other towns and cities that are notable and worth checking out. Coopersburg is or was at some time home to a number of notable people, including some famous athletes, actors, and musicians, and the author of Marley and Me (which became a well-known Hollywood movie), John Grogan. Doylestown's location at the intersection of two roads (now U.S. Route 202 and PA Route 611) helped the town grow from a hamlet into a village. Horsham is home to a number of companies' corporate headquarters. Blue Bell began as Pigeontown, named after the massive flock of passenger pigeons that congregated there but was renamed after a prominent inn in 1840. Exton is the major shopping area for Chester County. Your Sellersville PA RV rental is how you will explore this vibrant and interesting part of the U.S.
Nockamixon State Park is a haven for migrating bird species and an outdoor recreational area for the public. Green Lane Park is a developed outdoor recreational area where visitors can fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass, channel catfish, bluegills, and more. Visitors can also enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake, birding, or practicing their photography using the scenery and wildlife for subjects. Planning of the Green Lane Reservoir began in 1929, but construction didn't actually begin until 1954; the construction was completed in 1957.

There are many things to see and experience in Sellersville, and a good way to begin is with the local farmers' markets. One of them has an outdoor flea market and a farmers' market inside, with fresh meat and produce, doughnuts and soft pretzels, and more. There are several theaters, parks, and breweries. Many of the breweries sell flights (multiple small sampler cups) of their beers so guests can sample and choose their favorites. Don't forget to take your Sellersville RV rental for a spin around the countryside before handing the keys back. RV vacations were made for riding high, something everyone should do at least once.
When dinnertime rolls around, Sellersville has exactly what you're looking for. One Italian restaurant has a charming setting and atmosphere, with custom paintings on the walls and elegant placements. The restaurant specializes in veal dishes which are very popular, but guests dining here should at least sample the homemade pasta used in their traditional recipes. One family diner is open around the clock and serves an all-day breakfast, which is always a treat. There is a '50's-style diner jukebox and also a salad bar that has a good variety of items to choose from. There is, of course, the option of ordering takeout and dining in the comfort of your Sellersville luxury RV rental. Vacations were made for enjoying good food in a comfortable lawn chair, with a quiet breeze at sunset, and this is your chance to enjoy all of that.
