When William Penn initially secured land from King Charles II, his son ultimately realized that they weren’t the natural possessors of the land and before allowing people to settle on it, he made agreements with some of the local natives to purchase various tracts. The region that would one day become known as Coopersburg, Pennsylvania was purchased in 1737. It was originally part of Bucks County but eventually became part of the County of Lehigh in 1812. RV rentals in Lehigh County can offer an excellent opportunity to check out the heart of Pennsylvania.

It is an absolutely gorgeous region of the country and Coopersburg sits just south of Allentown. There are numerous “State Game Lands” dotting the landscape all around this region, but if you’re willing to take a bit of a drive with the best RV rental Coopersburg has to offer, you can head north and visit the Delaware Water National Recreation Area near Milford. You could also visit Hickory Run State Park near Wilkes-Barre. If you’re a Civil War history buff, then take a drive in that camper rental from Coopersburg down to Gettysburg and visit the Gettysburg National Military Park, a truly sobering visit.
