On the Hocking River, Logan is a peaceful community in southeastern Ohio. Logan is the seat for all of Hocking County, making it the official home to all the vital county services, government buildings, and the county courthouse.

Logan was first established back in 1816 by Ohio Governor Thomas Worthington and officially incorporated later in 1839. The town was named in honor of Chief Logan of the Mingo indigenous people, a great orator, leader, and military tactician.

These days, Logan is a fun place to rent an RV for those hoping to set off on a road trip through The Buckeye State. Its location in central Ohio, less than an hour's drive away from the state capital Columbus, makes it a natural place to kickstart your next adventure. Book an RV in Logan, and you can head off to lush, lakefront campgrounds, beaches on the shores of Lake Erie, or large cities like Cleveland and Cincinnati for a well-rounded, exciting vacation. There are even music festivals and local celebrations happening in town depending on when you visit, like the Washboard Music Festival which pays homage to the fact that Logan is home to one of the last remaining washboard music instrument companies.
