About 25 miles north of Vineland, NJ, sits a borough named Pitman. The peculiar history of the town comes from a series of laws that, until recently, made it a dry or alcohol-free town until about 2014. Once the laws were eradicated and changed, a couple of breweries opened up which now allows customers to buy beer by the glass.

Back in the late 19th century, Pitman was an unnamed plot of land intended for a summer camp for local Methodists. After people began to stay much longer, they began to replace their tents with houses, and the village of Pitman was born. If you're looking to stay in a quiet yet historically-rich town surrounded by nature, book an RV in Pitman, New Jersey.
