About 30 miles east of Allentown, PA sits the small borough of Bloomsbury, New Jersey. The city's name was derived from one of two sources; either to honor the Blooms, an influential family at the time of the town's founding, or the local mining ores called "blooms." Regardless, this borough dates back well over a century. Given the timeframe, many of the houses and other buildings all have feature 19th-century architecture styling, much like the rest of New England.
