2009 Dutchmen Eco
Ready to explore the roads less-traveled in comfort and style? Our ultra-light 2009 Eco 718QB can be towed by most midsize SUV’s and minivans. At 7' wide, it's narrower than the industry standard of 8' making it much less intimidating to tow and more aerodynamic, allowing for improved handling and fuel efficiency. At only 18' in length, u-turns are still an option even on two-lane roads! Our Eco may be light in weight, but it’s not on features and value. It not only comfortably sleeps four, but also has all of the major appliances found in larger RV’s including a cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, AM/FM/CD stereo with indoor/outdoor speakers, furnace, and water heater.

Our family of four avoids the interstates, has camped almost every nook and cranny of the United States and longs for the adventure and freedom of the open road with our little piece of sunshine in the rear-view mirror. Having our travel trailer has given us a sense of freedom to explore the United States and Canada with alacrity. We've driven coast-to-coast five times, we know the low roads and the high roads and have felt the sense of relief when a little voice in the backseat requires facilities that are only a tow hitch away after passing the last exit for 50 miles. RVing, while something we never thought we would enjoy, has opened our eyes to new possibilities, and saved us from a world contained to interstates, rest stops and fast food joints. It has instead, transported us to one where picnics at 10,000 ft are possible, buffalo and roadrunner sightings are the norm and it's our way, our pace, all the time. Our road traveled extends from toddlers to teenagers, and since moving east, momentarily, we camp local: egrets and herons are our dinner guests, sand is our table and campfires provide all the ambience necessary for our lives worth living.
