The quiet lakeside community of Pinconning can be found just north of Bay City near Standish. Pinconning was founded in the late 19th century by George Van Etten and Henry Kaiser who set up a lumber yard along Saginaw Bay. From these beginnings, Pinconning flourished due to the abundance of good farming land and the city's proximity to one of the Great Lakes, Lake Huron.

Now Pinconning is a small community close to one of the biggest lakes in North America, meaning there are plenty of outdoor activities to get involved in. It's also close to Bay City, giving people who rent an RV in Pinconning lots of restaurants, shops, and more to enjoy.
