It was founded in 1826 and was a small 303-acre plot that was eventually divided into lots. During the Civil War, a great portion of Jackson was completely leveled when General William T. Sherman took on his March to the Sea.
It wasn’t until railroads began passing through that Jackson started to recover. When you enjoy a luxury RV rental in Jackson, you can visit some amazing outdoor wonders. If you’re willing to take a bit of a drive with the best RV rental Jackson has to offer, you can head north into North Carolina and then Tennessee to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
