The little community of Yorba Linda is named for rancher Bernardo Yorba, who was granted the rights to 13,328 acres of land within the Santa Ana Canyon in southern California. Before colonization, Yorba Linda was a thriving community of Luiseño, Tongva, and Juaneño natives.
