No matter what part of California you may find yourself in, there will be an abundance of natural beauty. The small peninsula that Pacific Grove inhabits is no exception to this rule. Marina Dunes RV Resort and Monterey Fairgrounds RV Park are right next to one another, and two of the closest available options. Both have access to undeveloped beachfront, while Marina Dunes has a general store, a gift shop, sports courts, a fitness center, and more.

Saddle Mountain Ranch RV & Campground could be a good bet if you head south and want to stay inland. The park is pet-friendly and has playgrounds and a swimming pool for guests to use.

Between Monterrey, Salinas, Carmel, and Pacific Grove, there are enough amazing attractions to keep you occupied for the entirety of your trip and more. In Pacific Grove, nearly half the buildings in town are historic landmarks, with ornate Victorian style. Countless artists and authors have lived in Pacific Grove, like John Steinbeck and Robert Louis Stevenson, who once said: “I have never been in any place so dreamlike”. Point Pinos Lighthouse is perhaps the most notable of the historic structures in town, known for being the oldest operating lighthouse on the entire western seaboard. Epic views and gorgeous landscapes decorate the property around the lighthouse, making it a great place to spend the day.

The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History is a major feature in town that is worth a visit. This amazing institution has fascinating exhibits and displays concerning wildlife, plants, geology, natural history, and archeology in central California. Monterey Bay Aquarium over in Monterey is a fantastic facility right on the water. There are huge tanks full of mesmerizing jellyfish, penguins socializing with one another, and even sharks you can observe up close.
