Positioned just about 40 miles due west of Phoenix is Palo Verde, Arizona. It was first settled in 1886 by John Roberts who had directly assisted in the building of the Arizona and Buckeye canals. He also served as a deputy sheriff and cattle inspector in the region during those years. It is positioned right along the Gila River and a short drive from a variety of exceptional destinations.
